The entry of foreign citizens and stateless persons into the territory of Russia is temporarily restricted, with some exceptions. In all other cases, passengers may be refused entry to Russia, even if your flight is cleared for landing by FATA. The final decision on whether foreign citizens are allowed to enter Russia is made by the Russian Border Control Service during passport control at the airport after a personal interview with passengers about the details of their visit, and due to the current restrictions of COVID-19, this control is greatly intensified. It is not possible to check this in advance, it is solely the responsibility of passengers to ensure that they have a valid reason for entering Russia at that time and that they have all the necessary documents to confirm the purpose of their visit.
