As the largest cabin in the Challenger family, Bombardier launched this private jet in response to the following observation: Many owners of Global jets, private jets designed for long-haul flights, were using them for short flights. As a result, Bombardier borrowed the comfort and size of typical “Global” cabins and incorporated less powerful engines to optimise the cost of operating on short and medium-haul flights.
However, the Challenger 850’s performance remains outstanding with a range of over 5,000km at 850km/h and can easily fly from Nice to Moscow, or Paris to Mykonos in total comfort.
Depending on the configuration, up to 15 passengers can take place in a spacious, soundproofed cabin with three separate living areas. The cabin is generally equipped with an entertainment system and a Bluetooth system for entertainment and music.
The aircraft can also be converted into a night configuration cabin with its modular seats and bunks.
