It is difficult not to be indifferent to this aircraft with its very special design. The Piaggio Avanti is a turboprop of Italian origin, recognisable by its moustache, and is a plane that is much appreciated by those who have already used it. Although sometimes slightly more expensive to rent, the Piaggio Avanti stands out from the competition in the same segment thanks to its large, spacious and refined cabin, as well as its performance, which has nothing to envy a private jet.
- Interior
The aircraft’s famous whiskers have a role to play – to move the wings to the rear of the fuselage, thus saving space on board. As such, although in the light jet family in terms of performance, the cabin of this aircraft has all the makings of a large one. Generally configured as a 7-seater with a bench seat in the front, club 4 and a toilet in the back, well-being and space are the key words. In addition to its design, this aircraft stands out from its competitors in the same segment thanks to its cabin with a maximum height of 1.75m when a CJ2 is 1.45m high. Designed by the renowned Italian manufacturer Piaggio Aero, the level of finish is flattering and perfectly combines space and elegance.
- Performance
Don’t let its propellers fool you, with a cruising speed of 730km/h, the Piaggio Avanti is capable of competing with private jets like the Phenom 100 and is even faster than a Citation Mustang. The result of a collaboration with NASA, the design of this private plane is perfectly thought out. It is therefore not surprising to have a fast aircraft, flying at a level similar to airliners to avoid turbulence, and fuel efficient.
