On the edge of the lagoon, about twelve kilometres from Venice, Marco Polo airport welcomes private flights in a business aviation terminal. A water taxi then takes you to your hotel, on the Grand Canal or at St Mark's, in about thirty minutes. Its 3,300 m runway handles every aircraft.
