Just 6 km west of Cannes, Cannes-Mandelieu is reserved for business and leisure flying: scheduled commercial services are banned. Its 1,540 m main runway accepts jets of up to 35 tonnes maximum take-off weight. MK Partnair selects a compatible aircraft and books FBO handling ahead of your arrival.
The airfield closes at night. It is off-limits to jets above 35 t and turboprops above 22 t maximum take-off weight, and to Chapter 3 jets with a cumulative noise margin below 13 EPNdB. Captains must be trained on the airfield's specific procedures, as it is rated category B.
During periods announced by NOTAM, slots are coordinated and every landing and take-off needs a COHOR slot. Traffic peaks around the Cannes Film Festival, MIPIM, the Monaco Grand Prix and the Monaco Yacht Show. Handling is mandatory for aircraft with a wingspan of 12 m or more.
Airliner charters are not possible at Cannes-Mandelieu. For groups we recommend Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE / LFMN), around 30 km away by road, which we estimate at 30 to 45 minutes' drive outside rush hour.
