Alexander Nevsky Cathedral
Completed in 1912 in memory of the soldiers who fell for Bulgaria's independence, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral dominates the centre with its golden domes. It is one of the largest Orthodox churches in the Balkans.
Set against the Vitosha massif, Sofia brings together Roman ruins, Byzantine churches and the golden domes of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral within a few streets. Bulgaria's political and economic capital, it welcomes companies and delegations all year round, and opens the road to the ski resorts of Borovets and Bansko and to Rila Monastery. Chartering a private jet to Sofia means landing 8 km from the centre, nonstop from Paris or Geneva. A member of the Air Charter Association and the EBAA, MK Partnair charters your flight with certified operators.

At the foot of Vitosha, in the Boyana district, this small medieval church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, holds frescoes dating from 1259. Visits are in small groups, to protect the paintings.
About twenty minutes from the centre, Vitosha rises to 2,290 m at Cherni Vrah. Hiking and stone rivers in summer, skiing in winter: it is the favourite escape of Sofia's residents.
For a delegation, a sports team, a seminar or a group of guests, MK Partnair also charters airliners to Sofia. Sofia Airport handles airliners: we choose the aircraft that suits your group and prepare the permits.
Discover group charter →Sofia Airport (SOF), about 8 km east of the centre. Bulgaria's main airport, it has a 3,600 m runway that handles every private jet as well as airliners.
