Set on a plateau at Čilipi, in the Konavle region, Dubrovnik Airport is about twenty kilometres south-east of the old town and around ten minutes from Cavtat. Its long runway handles every private jet as well as airliners. In summer it gets very busy: a private flight there needs to be planned ahead.
From June to September, the airport is very busy and parking for private jets is limited. We request your space as soon as you book and, if needed, suggest a quieter time.
The country is part of the Schengen area since 1 January 2023: no border checks when flying from France or Switzerland. From London, border police check passports on arrival; we send the passenger list in advance.
Allow around 30 minutes by road to the old town and about ten minutes to Cavtat. For the Bay of Kotor, in Montenegro, allow about an hour's drive and a border crossing.
