Opened in 2020 to replace Tegel and the former Schönefeld, Berlin Brandenburg is the German capital's main airport, about twenty kilometres south-east of the centre. A business aviation terminal welcomes private flights, and its two runways, including a 4,000 m one, handle every aircraft. The motorway and fast trains link the airport to central Berlin.
The airport is closed to flights between midnight and 5 am, except for emergencies and official flights. We plan your schedule to arrive before midnight or leave early in the morning.
Berlin Brandenburg is a coordinated airport: every arrival and departure needs a time slot. We book it together with the flight plan as soon as you confirm.
Germany is part of the Schengen area: from France or Switzerland, there is no passport check. From the UK, police and customs checks take place on arrival.
