The gateway to the Costa del Sol, Málaga Airport lies by the sea, about 8 km from central Málaga and some fifty kilometres from Marbella by motorway, around 45 minutes by car. Private flights use a business aviation terminal. Its two runways, including a 3,200 m one, handle every aircraft, from Light Jets to airliners.
Málaga is a coordinated airport: every arrival and departure needs a time slot, which we book together with the flight plan. In July and August demand is very high: book early.
Spain is part of the Schengen area: from France or Switzerland, there is no passport check. From the UK, police and customs checks take place on arrival.
Allow around 45 minutes by road to Marbella and a little more to Puerto Banús, longer at summer peak times. We arrange your chauffeur-driven transfer as soon as you land.
