Set in Marignane, 27 km north-west of Marseille, Marseille Provence is France's second-largest regional airport. It runs around the clock with permanent customs, and its 3,500 m main runway handles everything from light jets to long-haul widebodies. MK Partnair plans your trip and books the ground handling that every aircraft must use here.
There is no full curfew, but from 22:00 to 06:00 local time, Chapter 3 jets with a cumulative noise margin below 10 EPNdB may neither land nor leave their stand for take-off (8 EPNdB for turboprops). We check the aircraft's noise certification before any night movement.
With a 3,500 m runway and category 9 rescue and fire-fighting cover, the airport takes airliners from narrow-bodies to widebodies. Only aircraft wider than 65 m or longer than 71 m need prior approval, with 24 hours' notice.
Ground handling is compulsory for every aircraft, and several providers operate on site. Slots are not coordinated (level 1), although the airport was temporarily coordinated for major events in 2023 and 2024.
