The main business aviation airport on the Slovenian Adriatic coast, Portorož Airport lies in Sečovlje, next to the salt pans, about ten minutes from Portorož and Piran and a few hundred metres from the Croatian border. Its runway of about 1,200 m handles turboprops and light jets.
In summer, the airport is usually open from 8:30 am to 8 pm, with shorter hours in winter. Arrivals or departures outside these hours are possible with prior approval and an extra charge. We plan your schedule accordingly.
The short runway limits the size of aircraft: turboprops, light jets and some midsize jets. For a larger jet, we fly into Trieste, in Italy, or Ljubljana, then arrange your transfer by road or by helicopter.
Customs and police are available during opening hours. In summer, the busiest period, we book parking, fuel and ground handling in advance.
