Set on the shore of Tivat Bay, at the heart of the Bay of Kotor, Tivat Airport is 3 km from the Porto Montenegro marina, 7 km from Kotor and about twenty kilometres from Budva. A VIP terminal welcomes private flight passengers, with fast-track police and customs checks, a lounge and meeting rooms.
Every private flight must be announced to the airport operations centre at least 36 hours in advance, with the general declaration for the police. We take care of it as soon as you book.
The airport operates to hours set by the government, usually 7 am to 4:30 pm in winter and later in summer. Outside these hours, a flight is only possible in daylight, with the operator's consent.
The approach, between the mountains, ends with a turn shortly before landing: it calls for experienced crews. In summer, parking is limited: book early.
