At Airbus, aircraft variants are thought of in terms of “families”: A220, A320, A330, A350 and A380. The Airbus A319 belongs to the A320 family, airliners originally designed for continental flights. The A319 is a smaller version of the A320 in terms of passenger capacity, but retains the same performance, particularly in terms of range.
The 144-seat single-aisle layout is the most common in the European charter market and offers significant space for its passengers. In addition to range, the A319 has the same pressurisation and soundproofing systems as the A320, making flights pleasant and less tiring.
With a range of over 6 hours, the A319 is ideal for leisure, business and even sports flights. It connects Paris to Istanbul or Lyon to Reykjavik in complete serenity.
The European aircraft manufacturer also offers a corporate version of the A319 through the ACJ range, Airbus Corporate JetLiner (from 19 to 55 seats).
