A long-awaited opening of borders: Japan
Since 11 October, the Land of the Rising Sun has reopened its borders.
Travellers from 68 countries can now visit Japan. Travellers from the European Union and the United States of America are among them. It is no longer necessary to be part of an organised tour to travel to Japan. Individuals are welcomed. No quarantine on arrival.
The Japanese authorities will ask for triple vaccination proof against Covid-19 or a negative PCR test less than 72 hours old before departure.
